We are seeking a Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator to join the Medical Joint Venture Coordination Department (MJVCD) of Operations & Business Services in Saudi Aramco.
The MJVCD is responsible for overseeing the implementation of, and compliance with, all the contractual terms stipulated in Healthcare Vendor Agreements covering compliance and risk management (financial and clinical) throughout the healthcare provider facilities in Third Party Agreements (TPA) and the Joint Venture (JV). MJVCD represents a governance structure that serves the interests of Saudi Aramco as a shareholder and a payer.
The Quality Improvement Coordinator’s primary role is to review, assess, and consult on comprehensive quality management programs that encompass the performance of the medical staff, nursing staff, and support services for clinics and/or inpatient services throughout Healthcare Provider Facilities in Third Party Agreements (TPA) and the Joint Venture (JV).
As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, or an allied healthcare profession from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.
You will have 15 years of experience in a professional healthcare field, including at least 10 years in management/quality improvement experience, of which 5 years will include designing, developing, and implementing quality management programs and quality improvement in a healthcare setting.
You will be a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Certified Professional in Risk Management (CPRM). An Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Risk Management Certificate is preferred.
A current certificate from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is preferred.
You will have excellent command of spoken and written English.
You will have the ability to present at management level.
You will be able to conduct meetings to validate data and assist in the preparation of materials that report to the director of MJVCD.
You will have confidence in presenting data findings and making recommendations for improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Consult and guide on accreditation, regulation, and licensing activities, and monitor completed assessments and response plans.
Monitor and report on TPA and JV key performance indicators (KPIs) as per the terms and conditions of contracts.
Review and assesse TPA and JV quality improvement and liability case reviews and compile reports for MJVCD and SAO executive management.
Meet regularly with TPA and JV QI representatives to provide information, guidance, and feedback on QI activities.
Report to MJVCD on special projects undertaken by TPA and JV QI analysts and other aspects of the re-engineering of the QI Unit.
Work with TPA and JV management to ensure that their programs effectively measure, assess, and continuously improve the quality of care and services provided
Perform administrative functions, including the preparation of Business Plans, Operating Plans, and Accountability Reports.
