The Facilities Planning Department is responsible for the development and coordination of the capital program throughout the Company. The successful candidate will be part of the Capital Program and Budget Division, which is part of the Facilities Planning Department.
The Capital Program and Budget Division (CP&BD) comprises the Capital Programs Group, Expenditure Requests Group, and Capital Management System Group. The activities of CP&BD include developing and maintaining manuals and procedures used in support of the Capital Program.
The Manual Writer will be involved in editorial, quality assurance, and review of related documentation to support the presentation of the Capital Program, Annual Capital Budget, and Expenditure Requests to the Board of Directors, President & CEO, and corporate management.
As a potential candidate for this Manual Writer position, the selection criteria are:
University graduate with a degree in Liberal Arts or Journalism.
Five to eight (5 to 8) years of experience in procedure writing.
Must be extremely fluent in written and oral English.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Manual Writer, your primary role is to:
Maintain and update all manuals pertaining to the Capital Program.
Implement new procedures for Capital Projects including reporting techniques, responsibilities, and distribution in addition to format and content.
Develop and review documents relating to the Capital Program, including Capital Project reports for the Board of Directors and minutes of meeting as requested by management.
Develop other extraneous presentations and reports as requested by management.
