We are seeking a Lead Oil Market Analyst to join the Strategic Studies and Market Analysis of Crude Oil Sales and Marketing department.
The Strategic Studies and Marketing Analysis Division is responsible for the department’s strategy, market intelligence, market analysis, planning and reporting activities, oil pricing support, modeling and data management.
Your primary role is to establish and coach a team of oil market analysts, while being accountable for the deliverables of the market analysis function. The Lead Oil Market Analyst is also expected to cover the dynamics of the global oil market form supply, demand, trade flows, pricing, competitor analysis, etc. in order to make the most optimal sales and marketing decisions.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or other related degrees from a recognized and approved program. Related advanced degree is preferred.
You will have ten to twenty years’ experience in the Oil and Gas marketing industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Lay the foundations of the market analysis function and coaching a team of oil market analysts
Assess existing pricing methodology and introduce tangible improvements
Provide periodic competitor analysis and crude oil market analysis reports
Assess market implications on Saudi Aramco and providing recommendations
Translate complex data into meaningful reports for different levels of Management
