Position Description

We are seeking a Deputy Director to join the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).

Ithra is located in an iconic landmark building, designed to be a beacon for knowledge to illuminate, inspire and catalyze the potential of the Kingdom’s vast talent pool. Ithra is an all-purpose cultural destination, an environment for transformative experiences to unlock the power of potential through mastery in arts, science, literature and innovation. Facilities include an idea lab, library, theater, museum, energy exhibit, art gallery, children’s museum, and a knowledge tower housed under one roof, to provide visitors with an immersive
and transformative experience.

You primary role will be to provide oversight and expertise in cultural center operations, structure, and entity development and execution.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

You will have at least 15 years of experience in a similar operation management role in a cultural institution/support services organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
Oversee full expansion of the Center’s offerings and implementation of the operating model.
Oversee major projects and report to the Director.
Ensure maximum realization of the Center’s mission and vision within the operations and strategy of Saudi Aramco.
Apply industry best practices to new initiatives.
Disseminate data and provide recommendations
Maintain flexibility within rapidly shifting parameters of operation.
