Saudi Aramco, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Unconventional Resources (UR) program. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Cost Engineer.
A successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
You will have minimum of nine (9) years cost engineering experience including at least five years devoted to petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, or power generation projects. Must be familiar with construction practices, materials, equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Provide all cost engineering expertise and coordinates activities as group/unit leader as required. B. Responsible for preparation of cost portion of the engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
Collect, monitor, analyze and report all cost information through the Project Manager.
Review and analyze all claims and Change Orders on project contracts.
Participate in the negotiation of project contracts as required.
Initiate appropriate action when total forecast indicates allocated funds will be exceeded.
Keep abreast of significant developments in cost engineering by close review of technical literature, contacts with contractors, visits to areas of construction, and attendance at professional technical meetings.
Utilizes computer programs.
